Monthly Survey for Connecticut Libraries These are the results of a series of Connecticut library community surveys conducted by the Division and announced on Conntech, the Connecticut library technology listserv. Results are are available in each issue of the Connecticut Libraries Newsletter Archives. Libraries Busier and Budgets Tighter During Recent Fiscal Year The Connecticut State Library recently conducted a survey to see if economic hard times really have had an impact on library use in Connecticut public libraries. During the past fiscal year from July 2008 to June 2009 many libraries saw a big increase in circulation, library visits, reference questions, program attendance and internet use.
