The annual ARSL conference was in full swing last month. If you couldn't join us,  handouts and presentations are available in our conference section.

You can also start making plans for next year's annual conference in Gatlinburg, TN (September 11-13, 2009).

National Summit on Rural Libraries

Dr. Bernie Vavrik convened a National Summit on Rural and Small Libraries this past July at the Center for the Study of Rural Librarianship in Clarion, Pennsylvania. Both Satia Orange and Don Reynolds from ARSL attended. The final report is now available for review, as well as the reformatted version that includes goals and strategies that ARSL may help in achieving.
