Connecticut Public Library Statistical Profile 2008 - By Population Group
Download spreadsheets that group the Statistical Profile into 6 different population groups. Towns with Under 5, 5 to 10, 10 to 15, 15 to 25, 25 to 50, and over 50 thousand residents.

Want to have a better way to analyze how your library is doing compared to similar Connecticut public libraries?  The files above use these service area population groups:

  • Statistical Profile for towns with a population under 5,000
  • Statistical Profile for towns with a population from 5,000 to 10,000
  • Statistical Profile for towns with a population from 10,000 to 15,000
  • Statistical Profile for towns with a population from 15,000 to 25,000
  • Statistical Profile for towns with a population from 25,000 to 50,000
  • Statistical Profile for towns with a population over 50,000
  • Statistical Profile for towns with non-principal public libraries

By downloading the file that corresponds with your town's population, you can compare your library with the averages for those libraries in Connecticut that have similar-sized communities.  Each worksheet in the file is ready for printing.
