Excel 2007 Pt.1 & Pt.2

This two day workshop will bring you from Excel novice to advanced professional. It is expected that participants will attend day 1 and day 2 of one session.

Part 1:
Designed for the Excel beginner or for those with a little experience, this full day class will make you look like an expert. You will start with Excel concepts and quickly move on to developing your own formulas. After formatting your spreadsheets, you'll be tackling charts and creating ones that will impress your co-workers.

Topics include:
Creating simple formulas
Using functions
Formatting sheets for printing
Creating advanced functions
Naming cells and ranges
Using 3-D functions to calculate across worksheets
Defining absolute and relative references
Creating elapsed time/day formulas

Part 2:
In this full day workshop you will move beyond the basics and explore more advanced functions. You will learn how to name cells and ranges, use those names in formulas and functions. In addition, you will explore the powerful database features of Excel that make it easy to sort, filter and add subtotals. A basic knowledge of Excel and Excel formulas is a prerequisite of this training.

Topics include:
Construction databases
Sorting, filtering, and subtotaling data
Creating pivot tables
Working with graphs and charts

Your instructor will be Diane McKeever, President of Professional Support Services, a software training company. Diane had her own desktop publishing company for many years, producing newsletters, flyers and brochures for a variety of clients. IMPORTANT NOTE: Cancellations require 72 hour notice (3 business days, excluding weekends & holidays) or you will be invoiced. (Attendee will automatically be placed on a waiting list if they miss 3 events in 6 months that require 72 hour cancellation notice.)
